Just to encourage you wannabes, there are many like the above who attended my Talks or bought my E-Guide who made it to be SIA cabin crew.

My first student to pass the SIA cabin crew video interview today

She was the only one at my "Talks" last Friday shortlisted to attend the SIA cabin crew video interview today. In fact, today's interview at STC was the first SIA cabin crew video interview in Singapore. The next is the usual walk-in interview at Pan Pacific Hotel (26 Nov).

I am happy to announce that the girl at my Talks passed today's interview. Below is the message from her after her successful interview (some parts are edited to protect her privacy)

"Good afternoon Mr Tan. Thank God I made it through the interviews.
I followed your advice regarding the smiles, the dressing and grooming just as how you described.
I thought of you and all that you shared. You gave me confidence and comfort.
Will be attending my medical soon and hope I will pass. From the bottom of my heart, no words can describe how thankful I am for you advices and sharings."

Hi Luke,
I attended your talk on January, and I was wearing braces then. I've removed my braces and have since gotten into SIA! Just wanna say thanks for all the encouragement you gave then. It was helpful to hear your critical points of view on how I could improve myself before the interview, then going and being genuine to the interviewers during the actual interview.
I hope to keep in touch, and thanks again! :)

After attending Luke's talks she is now flying for SIA

Got into SQ on 8th attempt

....with determination and perseverance I made it yesterday with my 8th try.. Im waiting for medical report now :)

He didn't become a flight steward even after attending my talks but........

Being a fresh grad and keeping my options open, I went on to apply for several other jobs as well while waiting for the next CC interview session, and somewhere in between I found this engineering company that pays comparable to a CC on an "above average" month, the benefits were rather attractive to the point I stopped bothering to attend anymore interviews with SQ.

I would say I got the job mostly because of the things that I've learnt from your talks. Although I don't remember most of it anymore now, but I still remember how you talked about "likeability" and how one should be able to relate to the interviewers, and showing stability and maturity. Oh, I never forgot about that smile, even though it was an engineering company that never needed any smile. I recently renovated my room so a lot of my old notes (including the ones I took during your talks) are deep inside some box, I wish I can find it now!

My job requires me to fly rather frequently to exhibitions (about once every 2 months) and all of them sponsored by my company on SQ so far, so although I no longer pursue a dream of flying as a CC, I now fly SQ frequently enough to somewhat fulfil my flying dream, although as a passenger.

Anyway, sorry to not have updated you, on the one hand I wanted to thank you for teaching me a rather useful universal interview skill, on the other hand, I was kind of paiseh to let you know that I never made it to SQ in the end.

Finally got into SIA after the Talks

This girl attended my talks and finally got into SIA as a flight stewardess. Above was what she whatsApp to me.

I met him on an SQ flight

I met this steward on my flight recently. He was one of those who bought my e-guide and got into SIA early this year.
After the flight I thanked him for the fabulous service he gave me and the passengers. The above was his reply to my whatsapp to him.
"help in getting me here" means I helped him got into SIA as a flight steward.

He even changed my name to Luck instead of Luke..lol

Dear Mr Luck,

                      Thank you for your kind advice! I have successfully passed my management round today! And i really need to thank you! Gonna go for my medical check-ups within the next 2 days!
